“To me, movies and music go hand in hand. When I’m writing a script, one of the first things I do is find the music I’m going to play for the opening sequence.”
– Quentin Tarantino
Quentin Jerome Tarantino (born March 27, 1963) is an American film director, screenwriter, producer and actor. His films have been characterized by nonlinear storylines, satirical subject matter, and an aestheticization of violence that often results in the exhibition of neo-noir characteristics.
Quentin Tarantino is a very special and interesting person (In my view) and he has made the following movies; Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Four Rooms (1995), From Dusk Till Dawn (together with his good friend Robert Rodriguez 1996), Jackie Brown (1997), Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003), Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004), Grindhouse (2007), Inglourious Basterds (2009), Django Unchained (20012).
Tarantino is great of adding the right music with perfect feeling to improve the output from his movies. For example listen to Tito & Tarantula´s “After Dark” and “Angry Cockroaches” from the movie “From Dusk Till Dawn”. The first video below is a weird interview with Quentin Tarantino there you can see and feel the bad chemistry between Tarantino and the journalist.
Quentin Tarantino: “I’m shutting your butt down!”
Quentin Tarantino refuses to discuss any link between movie violence and real life violence during a heated interview with Krishnan Guru-Murthy about his latest film Django Unchained.
