Quote # 42 by Harry Connick, JR.

“It is jazz music that called me to be a musician and I have always sang the songs that moved me the most.”

– Harry Connick, Jr.

Joseph Harry Fowler Connick, Jr. (born September 11, 1967) is an American singer, conductor, pianist, actor, and composer. He has seven top-20 US albums, and ten number-one US jazz albums, earning more number-one albums than any other artist in the US jazz chart history. He grown up in New Orleans where he began performing as a pianist and vocalist at the age of five. He was Schooled by two of the city´s keyboard legends – James Booker and Ellis Marsalis. When he was 18, he left for New York (and the rest is history).

A great thing with Harry Connick, JR. is his ability to cover many different music styles and that he has a fine sense for what he is doing. He is also a wonderful entertainer.

I have being listening to Harry Connick, JR. for more than 25 years, and can promise that he is great! But I can say that there has being a change from arround year 2000. He seemed to be more happy before.

Below are some examples of Harry´s broad artistery, and I hope you will like them as much as I do. Enjoy!

Harry Connick, JR. – “Let´s Just Kiss” from his fantastic album “To See You” (1997), highly recommended!

“This album is very much American,” says Harry, who not only played piano and sang lead vocals, but also wrote, arranged, orchestrated, and conducted every track. For me it´s a masterpiece!
